Happy New Year & January's Pet Project Donation

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I want to wish you all a fantastic 2009, filled with health, love, happiness, wealth, and for all your dreams to come true.

I also wanted to announce the rescue group that I have selected for the month of January, as part of my on-going Pet Project where we are donating 5% of all my monthly sales to a selected local Animal Rescue Group, but as a family/household, we are also personally 'matching' that 5% as well, so that makes 10% in total.

So, this is to officially announce that 5% of January's sales (plus my family's matching amount) will be donated to the Misty Creek Dog Rescue in the province of Alberta - Misty Creek Dog Rescue is a no kill Animal Rescue Organisation - Because of their strict no-kill mandate, dogs may stay at the shelter for years until they are successfully placed with a suitable family. Working closely with foster home volunteers, they have saved over 1300 dogs since 1998.

There are several various animal rescue (including wildlife rescue) organisations in my City and Province and so I select one of these organisations every month to make our donations to.
